| The Sovereign Performing Arts Center, located in Downtown Reading at 136 North 6th Street, and formerly known as the Rajah Theater, has three ballrooms, each with its own unique features and amenities. Ballroom capacities range from 120 to 400 guests. RENTAL RATES: Ballroom rental rates include: tables & chairs (on a first booked basis, an additional rental charge may apply for dates with multiple functions), setup of tables & chairs, housekeeping and security staff during the function and clean up. Our rates are based on a sliding scale, focused on the amount spent on catering: $0-2500 spent on catering: $500 rental per room $2501-5000 spent on catering: $350 rental per room $5001-9000 spent on catering: $250 rental per room $9001 and above spent on catering: Rental Waived Functions that require multiple ballrooms will be dealt with on an event by event basis. | Depending on availability, the lobby and mezzanine of the Performing Arts Center provides an extremely unique location for your reception or function. The extreme detail that was restored during the building's restoration in 2001 is second to none. |
